Terms of service

22collections runs a catalogue of AI training datasets you can licence, and also collects and labels custom data for you based on a brief and a price quote.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Organization admins are responsible for the actions of members they invite.

Buying a dataset gives you a licence to use it — it doesn't mean you own the underlying files. What you can do with the data depends on the licence you chose at checkout (Research, Commercial, or Exclusive — see our pricing page for what each one allows).

You can't share, resell, or license a dataset to someone else beyond what your licence allows.

Collection and labelling projects follow the brief you submit and the quote we confirm before work starts. What you'll get, when, and how payments are split are set out in that quote and shown in your workspace.

If a collection project involves recording people, you're responsible for making sure the brief and any consent requirements follow the law. We'll only collect and use that data the way you've agreed to.

We process payments through Razorpay. Prices are shown and charged in Indian Rupees unless we say otherwise, plus any taxes required by law. Your order is confirmed once payment goes through — see our refund policy for what happens if something goes wrong.

If you collect or label data for us, you confirm you have the right to submit it — including any consents needed — and you allow us to review, process, and deliver it as part of the customer's project.

You agree not to:

• Get around the licence restrictions on a dataset you've bought.
• Try to access another organisation's data, orders, or account details.
• Upload illegal content, or content you don't have the right to submit.
• Interfere with or try to disrupt how the platform runs.

We provide the service and datasets as they are, without extra guarantees. Where the law allows it, if something goes wrong, the most we're liable for is what you paid for that order.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Closing your account doesn't affect licences you already hold for datasets you've bought.

These terms are governed by Indian law, and any dispute will go through the courts where our business is registered.
